Keren Swanson

Keren Swanson is the Head of Strategy and Learning at Allan & Gill Gray Philanthropies since December 2021, focusing on developing entrepreneurial ecosystems in South Africa. Prior to this role, Keren led the Allan Gray Makers Programme, promoting entrepreneurship in technical and vocational trades, and established the Grants function at Allan & Gill Gray Philanthropies. Keren's earlier experience includes positions as Finance Consultant and Finance Specialist at Allan Gray Proprietary Limited, as well as serving as a Chartered Accountant and CA Trainee. Keren's educational background includes multiple qualifications from the University of Cape Town and SAICA, culminating in a strong foundation in accounting, finance, and impact investing.
