Deon White

Deon White is the Head of Information Systems & Technology at Allan Gray Orbis Foundation. Deon has over 18 years of experience in IT, including driving the IT strategy for Luxottica and managing IT budgets, projects, and helpdesks. Deon has also developed and managed IT Governance frameworks, Business Continuity Plans, and Disaster Recovery Plans.

Deon White has a Doctor of Philosophy in Mangement of Technology and Innovation from The Da Vinci Institute, a Master of Public Administration from Governance & Disaster Management from University of the Western Cape/Universiteit van Wes-Kaapland, a New Managers Development Programme in Leadership, Finance, Operations & Management from Stellenbosch University/Universiteit Stellenbosch, and a Bachelor of Administration from University of the Western Cape/Universiteit van Wes-Kaapland. Deon White also has certification from General Post Office in Licenced HAM Radio Operator, Prometric Testing Ctr in Microsoft Certified Professional: SQL Server, Prometric Testing Ctr in Microsoft Certified Professional + Internet, Compaq in Accredited Compaq Technician (ACT), and Prometric Testing Ctr in Intel Product Integrator.

They are on a team with Nontobeko Mabizela - Head of Impact Assurance, Karen Gabriels - Head of Finance, and Lolo Mini - Head of Talent. Deon White reports to Yogavelli Nambiar, Chief Executive Officer.
