Nontando Mthethwa

Nontando Mthethwa (MBA) is an experienced professional with a significant background in communication, public affairs, and marketing across various organizations. Currently serving as a Steering Committee Member for the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE SA) since August 2021, Nontando plays a vital role in promoting entrepreneurship in developing economies. As the Head of Public Affairs and Communications at the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation since May 2018, Nontando focuses on investing in the education and development of individuals with entrepreneurial potential in Southern Africa. Nontando has also been the Managing Director at RedFox Communications since November 2011, specializing in brand and corporate reputation management. Prior experience includes leading communications and marketing at Kagiso Trust and serving on the Board of Trustees for Kagiso Shanduka Trust. Nontando’s educational qualifications include an MBA from GIBS Business School, a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Gordon Institute of Business Science, and a BA Honours in Journalism from the University of the Witwatersrand.
