Alan Alexander

Dr. Alan Alexander is a physician executive and board-certified practicing radiologist who was most recently the global head of medical imaging, and global head of surgical specialties, at McKinsey & Company.

Dr. Alexander brought over $4B of impact to organizations over 6 years as a leader in McKinsey & Company’s healthcare systems and life sciences practices. He worked with a wide range of healthcare organizations in commercial/sales strategy, research & development, M&A, digital technology, and operations. He also brought expertise in organizational and cultural change and published several papers on artificial intelligence in medicine. He is currently on the external advisory board to McKinsey & Co.

In addition to his consulting work, Dr. Alexander has conducted numerous laboratory and clinical research projects, and has over 60 presentations, publications, and book chapters. Dr. Alexander is very passionate about making healthcare more efficient for both patients and providers.
