Sean Burke

Sean Burke has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Sean most recently retired from their role as a retired professional at Maine CASA and Family & Community Mediation in 2022. Prior to that, they held leadership positions at Allegro MicroSystems, Inc., where they served as the VP and Chief HR Officer since 2013, and at Allegro MicroSystems, LLC, where they were the Senior Vice President and Chief HR Officer from 2017 to 2020. Sean also worked as the Executive Vice President at Furmanite Worldwide in 2012 and as the Principal at Executive Alignment, LLC from 2011 to 2012. Sean's notable experience includes serving as the SVP and Chief Human Resource Officer at American Water from 2007 to 2011, where they played a key role in the company's transition to a publicly traded organization. Additionally, they worked as a Principal at Executive Alignment, LLC from 2005 to 2007, providing advisory services to corporate boards in various areas of human resources. Earlier in their career, Sean served as the VP of Human Resources at American Ref-Fuel Company from 1988 to 2005 and as a Director of HR at Air Products & Chemicals from 1982 to 1988.

Sean Burke attended Youngstown State University from 1973 to 1978, where they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. In 1991, they also attended the University of Michigan for an Executive Management Program.
