Richard Ballew

Richard Ballew is an experienced construction professional with a diverse background in project management and carpentry. Currently serving as a Pre-Construction Project Manager at Allen Construction since January 2011, Richard specializes in pre-construction management for projects in Santa Barbara and Santa Ynez. Prior to this role, Richard was self-employed for a decade, focusing on energy-efficient heating systems in Northern California. Richard's career at Allen Construction began in 1995 as a Project Manager, where significant achievements included winning the first Green Building Award from the Santa Barbara Contractors Association for a historical adobe restoration project. Earlier in Richard's career, valuable experience was gained as a carpenter on notable projects such as the UCSB Business Center and Exxon’s oil refinery. Richard Ballew holds a Journeyman Carpenter degree from the Gold Coast Chapter of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, earned between 1987 and 1991.
