Hyunwoo Kim

Hyunwoo Kim is a Young Investigator at the Allen Institute for AI (AI2), focusing on social reasoning and commonsense, under the guidance of Yejin Choi, since October 2021. Previously, Hyunwoo served as a Research Intern at Mosaic, also advised by Yejin Choi. Academic experience includes a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Vision & Learning Lab at Seoul National University from March 2019 to May 2023, advised by Gunhee Kim. Additionally, Hyunwoo interned at NAVER Corp's Clova AI Research, under Ji-hoon Kim, and worked as a Software Engineering Intern for the Cloud Management Platform Team at Coupang in early 2017. Education includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Seoul National University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology & Computer Science from Yonsei University.
