Leda Yeager

Leda Yeager is an experienced freelance copyeditor with a career spanning several decades in medical and professional publishing. Since 2012, Leda has provided copyediting services for various medical and online media publications at Allen Press, Inc. and Demand Media. Leda has held the role of Medical Transcription QA Audit Team Lead at Nuance Communications since 2007, overseeing QA auditing and document preparation in the medical field. Previously, Leda worked as a QA auditor and medical transcriptionist at MedQuist from 1993 to 2007, and served as Assistant Editor for The Journal of Urology at the American Urological Association from 1974 to 1993. Leda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Pre-Med from Western Maryland College (now McDaniel College), earned between 1973 and 1977.
