Omar Edward Njie

Omar Edward Njie, MD, MPH has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Omar Edward is currently serving as a Principal and Investor at AlleyCorp since August 2021. In addition to their role with AlleyCorp, they also hold a position as a Board Member at AvoMD, starting in January 2023.

Previously, Dr. Njie has gained valuable experience as a Board Observer at Resolve and Yuvo in 2022. Prior to that, they co-founded the Diversity Innovation Hub, a Mount Sinai venture focused on addressing social determinants of health and increasing diversity in healthcare innovation. Omar Edward Njie, MD, MPH holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Omar Edward also earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Yale University, specializing in Health Policy & Management and Global Health. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Global Affairs with a focus on Economic Development, also at Yale University. Njie obtained their High School Diploma from Loyola High School of Los Angeles.
