Sheena Velasquez

Sheena Velasquez is an experienced educator and currently serves as the NGSS Implementation Coach at Alliance College-Ready Public Schools, where responsibilities include coaching teachers, promoting NGSS instruction, and developing high-quality science instructional resources. Previous roles include being an ALLI Instructional Coach and BTSA Support Provider at Alliance Health Services Academy, as well as a Science Teacher and Department Chair. Additionally, Sheena has experience as a Professor at Loyola Marymount University and has contributed to Teach For America as a Faculty Advisor. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Secondary Education and a B.S. in Natural Science, both from Loyola Marymount University.
