At NAHU, they were a Government Relations Coordinator, where they revitalized the association's social media and implemented marketing and promotion tactics that led to a 108% increase in profile visits and 44% increase in engagement on Twitter. Katrin also drafted weekly articles that were electronically distributed to over 100,000 independent health insurance agents and brokers and archived on the website, and submitted quarterly Lobbying Disclosure Act filings.
At American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), they were a Senior Coordinator, Healthcare Relations and Grants and Coordinator, Healthcare Relations and Grants.
Currently, they are a Health Programs Manager at Alliance for Aging Research.
Katrin Werner-Perez earned a Bachelor's degree in Public Health Education and Promotion from the University of Utah between 2012 and 2015. Katrin also obtained a certification in CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers from the American Red Cross in April 2015.
