Tiffany Talsma

Tiffany Talsma is a seasoned professional in sustainable development, currently serving as the Team Lead for Data Driven Sustainability at the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT since April 2016. Talsma's role involves transforming CGIAR data science and modeling into digital services that enhance corporate sustainability programs, particularly for smallholder resilience. Prior experience as an international consultant included creating decision support systems for clients such as The World Bank and MasterCard International. Talsma also contributed to the World Bank as a consultant focused on quantifying short-lived climate pollutants in waste management. Earlier, as Startup Manager at Waste Ventures India, Talsma managed various organizational functions aimed at providing income opportunities for waste pickers while improving waste management practices. Additional roles at KPMG and Borders provided a foundation in strategic improvement and operational analysis. Talsma holds a Master of Science in Environmental Economics from the University of London and an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
