Brett Kopelan

Brett Kopelan is an experienced leader in the nonprofit sector with a focus on healthcare and rare disorders. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine and Chairman of the Board for the ARM Foundation for Cell & Gene Medicine, Brett has also been the Executive Director of Debra of America since 2011, where the role involves guiding strategic initiatives dedicated to Epidermolysis Bullosa. Previous roles include VP & CFO at Capstone Partnership and Chairman of the Board for the National Organization for Rare Disorders. Brett holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from New York University. Additional early career contributions include leadership positions in business development and co-founding a company.
