Allan Nielson

Allan Nielson has extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as Manager of DevSecOps & Platform Toolkits at Alliant Credit Union since October 2009. Previously held titles at Alliant include Manager - DevOps, Principal DevOps Engineer, and Senior DevOps Engineer, focusing on the delivery of modern applications and automated testing. Nielson also contributed as a Senior Systems Engineer, leading the DevOps Workgroup and managing the Systems Engineering environment. Prior to Alliant, Nielson worked as a Senior IT Project Manager at CNA Insurance, successfully delivering over 250 IT projects with significant financial benefits. Earlier experience includes serving as a Groupware Architect at Hewitt Associates, where server environments were designed and administered. Nielson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications/Public Relations from Eastern Illinois University.
