Nick Wood has over 25 years of work experience in various roles and companies. Nick started their career in 1993 at TQMI, a consultancy specializing in quality management and improvement. During their time there, they managed and developed their media and publications business.
In 1999, Nick worked for QMSI on secondment as a senior project manager, overseeing the development of an Internet-based conflict prevention system for the United Nations. This involved extensive travel and collaboration with international partners.
In 2001, Nick joined TMP Worldwide UK as the Head of Interactive Delivery, where they led the project management team and later developed the Interactive product marketing strategy.
From 2005 to 2008, Nick worked at Yell Group, overseeing various roles such as Senior Project Manager, Product Group Manager, and Online Analytics Manager. Nick was responsible for providing operational and strategic management information and insight using web analytics solutions.
From 2008 to 2010, Nick worked at European Directories as a Group Analyst Online. Nick played a key role in accelerating the online business through technology platforms and innovative products.
From 2010 to 2016, Nick worked at Adversitement as the Group Partnerships Director. Nick focused on setting up the UK business, managing operations and projects, and developing channel partnerships in EMEA.
From 2016 to 2018, Nick worked at Datastreams.io as the Partnership Operations Director & Data Protection Officer. Nick identified and operationalized projects with partners and clients, empowering them to deliver data-driven services and solutions.
From 2018 to 2020, Nick worked at Data Collaboration Limited as the Owner/Delivery Consultant. Nick specialized in digital project management and customer success for data-driven clients.
Since 2019, Nick has been working at Alliants. Nick started as a Customer Success Manager and later became the VP Customer Operations. Alliants is known for delivering exceptional customer experiences and Nick's role involves helping travel and retail brands become data-driven businesses through consultancy services and products.
Throughout their career, Nick has demonstrated expertise in digital innovation, project management, customer success, and data-driven strategies.
Nick Wood's education history includes the following:
- From 1986 to 1989, they attended The Manchester Metropolitan University and earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) degree in Geography with European Studies.
- From 1996 to 1997, they enrolled at Solent University and completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General.
- From 1997 to 1998, they returned to Solent University and obtained a second Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General.
In addition to their formal education, Nick Wood has also obtained various certifications. Nick also holds a PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training from APM Group, obtained in August 2004.
