Michael Beirne

Michael Beirne is an experienced Motor Assessor currently working at Allianz Ireland since April 2024. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of CTC Motor Assessor at AIG from May 2014 to March 2024, and worked as a Vehicle Damage Assessor and Claims Handler at Ace Autobody from June 2012 to April 2014. Early in their career, Michael served in various capacities including Bodyshop Foreman, Assistant Manager, Estimator, and Panelbeater at Windsor Motors from June 1999 to September 2011, and as a Panelbeater at White + Delahunty Motors from January 1995 to April 1999. Michael's extensive background in the automotive industry also includes roles as Workshop Foreman, Spray Painter, Panelbeater, and Estimator at Baggot Crash Repairs, and Panelbeater/Fitter Stripper at Dargle Car Body. Michael began the career in the panelbeating and spray painting fields at Crashways. Michael earned a Degree in Automotive Engineering and Automotive Engineers Assessor from Dublin Institute of Technology (2014-2017) and a CIP in Insurance from The Insurance Institute (2017-2020).
