Arjan Hendriksen

Arjan Hendriksen has extensive work experience in risk engineering and management. Arjan currently holds the position of Head of Risk Engineering Benelux - Property & Casualty at Allianz Nederland since January 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Manager Risk Engineering Benelux - Property & Casualty at Allianz Nederland from April 2019 to June 2022. Arjan also worked as a Senior Risk Engineer / Account Engineer - Property & Casualty at Allianz Nederland from February 2016 to April 2019.

In addition to their roles at Allianz Nederland, Arjan Hendriksen has worked for other organizations such as Allianz, where they served as a Guest Lecturer in the P&C Academy - Risk Engineering (Property, Liability) from June 2021 onwards. Arjan also worked as a Risk Management Consultant / Trainer / Auditor at DNV Group (Det Norske Veritas) in 1997.

Arjan Hendriksen's education history includes a variety of courses and certifications. In 1983-1989, they attended Veluws College for Gymnasium ß. From 1989-1991, they studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Twente, followed by Chemical Engineering with a focus on Environmental Engineering & Industrial Hygiene at Saxion University of Applied Sciences from 1991-1994. In 1996, they obtained a Radiation Expert Level 3 certification from ECN, Petten. Arjan also received training in various areas such as HazMat Advisor (2002-2003) and Fire Officer and Safety Manager (2003-2005) from Nibra/NIFV. Arjan participated in the Aon Advanced Fire Protection Classes - NFPA course at Aon/Schirmer Engineering from 2007-2009. Arjan further expanded their education with additional courses, including Inspiring Leadership at de Baak in 2012 and Achmea Business Course at Nyenrode Business University in 2013-2014. Arjan also completed the Risk Engineering Silver program (2018) and is currently pursuing the Risk Engineering Gold program (2022-2023), both from Allianz P&C Academy. Arjan Hendriksen has also obtained the #Lead Allianz Leadership Program certification from Allianz.
