Laura Demarch

Laura Demarch, M.Sc, currently serves as a Senior Data Scientist at Allianz since November 2020, providing strategic data science leadership to enhance marketing efforts, resulting in reduced churn and improved customer experience as reflected in increased NPS. Previously, at Aon from March to October 2020, Laura focused on modeling the epidemiological evolution of COVID-19. At Yandeh, Laura developed various algorithms for client segmentation and image recognition utilizing AWS technologies. Laura also contributed to digital transformation initiatives at Itaú Unibanco during a master’s internship, while earlier research roles involved petrophysical analysis and fluid flow simulations. Laura holds a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas and a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina, supplemented by an exchange program at the University of Wyoming.
