John Tesmer

John Tesmer is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the nuclear industry and engineering management. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Allied Power since February 2024, John has also been actively volunteering at Community Cupboard for Elizabethtown and Gettysburg National Military Park. Prior to this, John worked as a Decommissioning Engineer at Exelon from October 2019 to October 2022 and held similar roles at Constellation. John's career at Exelon Nuclear spanned nearly two decades, where responsibilities included serving as Simulator Coordinator and various engineering positions following the sale of Three Mile Island. Earlier career highlights include serving as a Senior Engineer at GPU Nuclear and functioning as a licensed Senior Reactor Operator at the University at Buffalo's PULSTAR reactor. John holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from Drexel University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University at Buffalo.
