Tom is a former IBM Master Inventor who joined AST to deliver added insight and value to AST Members. He is responsible for analyzing and reporting on incoming patent portfolios, gleaning beneficial insights from disparate sources of patent information, and communicating those insights directly with AST Members and Staff.
During Tom’s distinguished 37 years at IBM, he honed his technology and patent research and evaluation skills, served as a leader in the IP Organization, and was the lead architect for a set of Artificial Intelligence-based Intellectual Property analytics tools. He has over 25 issued Patents and Published Applications.
Tom received his Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York, now the NYU Tandon School of Engineering.
