Andrew Thorp

Andrew Thorp is a seasoned professional in the marine insurance sector, currently serving as Senior Vice President of the Europe Marine Division at Allied World since November 2013. Prior to this role, Andrew gained valuable experience as a Cargo Underwriter with Alterra at Lloyd's from September 2011 to October 2013 and previously held the same position at Starr Marine from January 2008 to July 2011. Andrew's career also includes a tenure as Senior Underwriter at AIG Europe (UK) Limited from November 2004 to December 2007 and a long-standing role as Divisional Director at Willis from 1988 to 2004.
