Stefanie Burns

Stefanie Burns is a seasoned Speech-Language Pathologist with extensive experience in various educational and clinical settings. Currently serving as the Speech and Language Department Chair at Bay Ridge Prep since August 2018, Stefanie leads a team of speech-language pathologists, organizes department meetings, supervises new hires, and fosters professional development. In addition to this role, Stefanie provides individualized and group therapy to students aged 14-18 with language and executive functioning disorders at Bay Ridge Prep, and delivers early intervention services to children from birth to three years old at ALLIEDMEDIX RESOURCES, INC. Previous positions include providing play-based therapy for children ages 1-13 at Bay Area Speech Pathology Studio, evaluations and treatment for children ages 4-12 at SF Speech for Kids!, and assessments for diverse populations during graduate placements. Stefanie holds a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Lehman College and a Bachelor's degree from Ithaca College.
