Alain Orban

Alain Orban has over 25 years of experience in project management and engineering within the chemical industry, currently serving as the Global Capital Projects and Automation Manager at Allnex since April 2013. Prior to this role, Alain worked as a Senior Project Manager at Cytec from March 2005 to March 2013 and served as a Project Manager at UCB Chemicals from January 1998 to February 2005, where responsibilities included conducting feasibility studies and managing the design, construction, and start-up of chemical plants. Earlier, Alain held the position of Hoofd Constructie Engineering at UCB Chemicals' Gent plant and worked as a Project Engineer at UCB Chemicals. Alain Orban holds an Ingénieur Civil degree in Mechanical and Electrical engineering from Université libre de Bruxelles, completed in 1986, and has a background in education from several prestigious institutions in Belgium.
