Amir Hochbaum

Amir Hochbaum has a comprehensive work history with a focus on R&D and managerial roles. Amir currently holds the positions of VP R&D and VP Security R&D at Synamedia, a role they have held since 2019. Prior to that, they served as VP R&D at Allot Communications starting from 2008. Before these roles, they worked as COO at Axerra from 2007 to 2008. Prior to that, they were the VP R&D and Site Manager at Vyyo from 2005 to 2006, and at Avaya from 1995 to 2005. Amir'searlier experience includes a role as Director at Lannet from 1994 to 1996, and as R&D Manager at Rosh Intellignet Systems from 1984 to 1994.

Amir Hochbaum pursued their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Amir completed this program from 1980 to 1983. Subsequently, they furthered their education at the same university, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science from 1984 to 1987.
