Caroline Köhrer has an extensive work experience spanning multiple prestigious institutions and companies. Caroline began their career in 1997 as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck. Caroline then went on to work as a Research Scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1997 to 2017. During their time at MIT, they also held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher. In 2017, they joined Moderna as an Associate Director of Molecular Biology, and later became the Director of RNA Science in 2020. Currently, they hold the role of Vice President of Discovery Platform at Alltrna, starting from 2022. Throughout their career, Caroline Köhrer has accumulated valuable expertise and knowledge in the field of RNA science and molecular biology.
Caroline Köhrer pursued their education in the field of microbiology at Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck. Caroline completed their Master's degree in Microbiology from 1987 to 1993. Following this, they furthered their studies at the same institution and obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Microbiology from 1993 to 1997.
