Shuo Chen

Shuo Chen is an experienced technology leader and engineer currently serving as the CTO and Co-Founder of Alma since March 2024, focusing on simplifying immigration processes. Previously, Shuo held the position of Senior Director of Engineering at SupportLogic from January 2022 to 2024, where responsibilities included overseeing AI/ML initiatives and data platform development. Shuo's earlier roles at Uber from October 2016 to January 2022 involved engineering leadership across multiple teams, notably in Uber Eats and driver pricing, where significant contributions were made towards machine learning platforms and real-time data processing systems. Prior experience also includes engineering management at Jelli, Inc., software engineering roles at eBay, and an internship at Sony Electronics. Shuo holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from UCLA and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University.
