Alexa Teevens

Alexa Teevens grew up in Pembroke, MA on the South Shore. She attended college at Claremont McKenna in Claremont, CA. She majored in International and Intercultural Studies, and also studied abroad in China. Later, she also went to American University in Washington, D.C., for a Masters degree in Education. After college she taught second grade in Washington, D.C., and then in Dorchester, MA, before coming to Alma in 2015 as a literacy specialist. Ms. Teevens was promoted to Director of Curriculum & Instruction in 2018.
