Joao Paulo Champalimaud

Joao Paulo Champalimaud is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor, currently serving as Founder and Managing Director of Intercapital-IGA SA since August 2012. Joao Paulo is also a Founding Member of HiSeedTech and a Co-Investor at Mundi Ventures, both roles since 2017 and 2015, respectively. Champalimaud actively invests in early-stage companies such as Sea4Us, BioMimetx, Cipia, and Benivo. Additionally, Joao Paulo co-founded Pavnext and advises on the board of BGI - Building Global Innovators, mentoring startups in Portugal's acceleration program. Champalimaud's educational background includes a degree in Business and Economics from Nova School of Business and Economics, along with studies at universities in St.Gallen, IMD, and Stockholm.
