Joshua Kramer has held a variety of roles since 2009. Joshua began their career as a Student Ambassador at the RIT Undergraduate Admissions Office, where they gave weekly scripted tours of campus and presented the RIT brand to prospective students. Joshua then held roles as a Student Assistant of Special Projects and Resident Assistant. In 2013, they began working at EffectiveUI as a UI Developer, where they provided HTML, CSS, and JavaScript architecture and development to build clean, well-documented code for medium-scale webapps built with AngularJS. Joshua then moved on to Brand Networks as a Software Engineer, where they architected and implemented a medium-scale AngularJS application for use by national brands. In 2017, they worked at ITX Corp. as a Developer, assembling an enterprise AngularJS application from the ground up. In 2018, they joined Measures for Justice as a Senior Software Engineer, leading the development and maintenance of their web properties, including a homepage and several data portals. In 2011 and 2010, they held Co-op roles at the National Security Agency, working on the software team, validating data byte-by-byte, manually parsing XML schemas, and programming a microcontroller with C. In 2013, they worked at Fluxx as a Software Engineering Co-op, adding features used by dozens of clients to the product. Finally, in 2022, they joined the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as an Information Technology Specialist (APPSW), where they architected a website for the Surgeon General. In 2023, they began working at Almond as a Lead Frontend Software Engineer.
Joshua Kramer attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering.
