Sandy Barber has a diverse work experience, spanning over several industries and roles. Sandy began their career at Unisys in 1983 as a Senior Software Developer. After spending thirteen years there, they moved on to Lithonia Lighting in 1996, where they worked as a Lead Software Developer for three years. In 1999, Sandy joined Alogent as a QA Lead, and they served in that position for nine years until 2008. Following that, they worked at Goldleaf Financial Solutions as a QA Lead in the Enterprise Payments Division. In 2009, they joined ProfitStars as a Senior QA Analyst and held that role until 2016. Sandy then became a Principal QA Analyst at Alogent, where they currently work. Alongside their professional career, they have also been actively involved in volunteer work, both with Rainbow Village Inc. and the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta. Sandy is highly experienced in quality assurance and has demonstrated leadership capabilities throughout their career.
Sandy Barber pursued their education starting from 1978 to 1980 at South Georgia College, where they obtained an AS degree in Information Systems. In 1980, they enrolled in both Georgia State University and the University of West Georgia. At Georgia State University, they earned a BBA degree in Information Systems from 1980 to 1983. Simultaneously, they studied at the University of West Georgia, where they completed an Associate of Science degree in Computer Science from 1980 to 1981.
