Sara Liptrot

Sara first joined the Aloha Foundation as a counselor at Lanakila in 2013. From 2013 to 2019 she served as a counselor, Head of Camp Craft, instructor for D.T.L.’s (Designated Trip Leaders), and coordinator for three counselor Certification Weeks. She also worked at the Hulbert Outdoor Center, first as an instructor and then as the Associate Program Coordinator between 2017-2019. Sara has a background in non-profit work and previously worked as a Youth Development Leader, helping to instill the values she learned at camp. Born in America but raised in England, Sara is a graduate of Newcastle University where she majored in History.
