Joel Luper

Joel Luper has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Joel currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at AlohaCare since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Community First Health Plans, where they held multiple roles, including Executive Director of Accounting Operations & Financial Reporting from December 2019 to December 2021, Director of Financial Accounting and Reporting from July 2019 to December 2021, and Manager of Financial Accounting from February 2019 to July 2019.

Before joining Community First Health Plans, Joel worked as an Accounting Supervisor at Davis Vision from March 2017 to February 2019 and as a Senior Controller at InfoSync Services from June 2014 to March 2017. Joel also served as a Controller at Flogistix, LP from April 2012 to May 2014 and as the Chief Accountant at Willborn Bros. Co. from February 2006 to March 2012.

Joel began their career as an Auditor at CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP (formerly Clifton Gunderson LLP) in September 1997 and worked there until August 2001. Joel also had a stint as a Senior Accountant at Caviness Beef Packers from September 2001 to January 2006. With their extensive experience in finance and accounting roles across various industries, Joel brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their current position.

Joel Luper obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from West Texas A&M University. Joel attended the university from 1995 to 1997. Additionally, they obtained the certification of Certified Public Accountant from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy in October 2001.
