Paula De Andres has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Paula is currently working as a Frontend Developer at ALOHAS, where they contribute to improving and updating the brand website in response to the digital transformation of the fashion world.
Prior to their current role, Paula worked as a TA (teacher assistant) at Ironhack, starting in May 2021. Paula has also established their own sustainable womenswear project called POL STUDIO, where they served as the Founder and Head Designer. In this role, they collaborated with clients on designing garment details, participated in web development, brand identity, collection inspiration, and fabric selection. Additionally, they developed 3D models for the garments using Clo3d. Paula'swork at POL STUDIO earned their a nomination to Vogue Who's on Next.
Before starting their own project, Paula worked as a freelance womenswear designer and creative pattern cutter, undertaking design projects for various clients such as Ines Lacasa, Moisés Nieto, and Marcela Mansergas. Paula participated in shape research, drafted patterns, and conducted fittings with clients.
Paula also gained experience as a Womenswear Product Developer at JANTAMINIAU, where they worked closely with the Creative Director to design prototypes, develop samples and oversee production. At ECOALF, they served as a Womenswear Junior Designer, responsible for creating moodboards, selecting sustainable materials, and sending techpacks to factories.
In previous roles, Paula worked as a Freelance Creative Pattern Cutter at Alexander McQueen, a member of the 3D womenswear Studio RTW team at Celine, and a Creative Pattern Cutter at Sorapol. Paula also had experience as the Head Designer at POL, where they developed a brand of Ready to Wear womenswear, participated in fashion shows, and managed production and online shop creation.

Paula De Andres began their education journey in 2006 at Universidad Europea, where they pursued a Licenciatura in Arquitectura y Bellas Artes. From 2008 to 2011, they attended IED to obtain a Fashion Design Degree in Fashion/Apparel Design. Following their passion for fashion, Paula enrolled in ISA from 2011 to 2012 to specialize in Pattern cutting and Grading. In 2015, they attended the University of the Arts London for a postgraduate course in Innovative Pattern Cutting. Most recently, in 2021, they completed a program in Full Stack Web Development at Ironhack, focusing on Web Page, Digital/Multimedia, and Information Resources Design.
