Anish Mehta

Anish Mehta has extensive work experience in engineering and software development. Anish is currently a Co-Founder and Head of Engineering at Alongside, a role they started in April 2022. Prior to that, Anish served as the VP of Engineering at Actively Learn from January 2016 to February 2022. During their time at Actively Learn, they played a key role in the acquisition processes by Achieve3000 and McGraw Hill. Anish also single-handedly redesigned and launched a math product within a year. Before Actively Learn, Anish worked at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer from November 2011 to September 2012. Prior to that, they worked at Microsoft as a Software Development Engineer in Test from September 2008 to October 2011, where they tested online frontend and backend components and built automation tools. Anish also co-founded VidTaggr, a company they worked at from January 2010 to January 2011. Anish began their career as a Software Engineer at Infosys from July 2007 to August 2008 and at Harris Corporation from January 2006 to August 2006.

Anish Mehta attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science.
