Ryan MacArthur

Ryan MacArthur has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Ryan is currently serving as the Director of Technical Product Management at Alpaca since January 2022. Prior to this, Ryan worked as a Partner at Exoskeletons from January 2019 to February 2022, where they focused on competitive analysis, product development, and automation in the field of Security Analytics and Extended Detection and Response. At StartX, a nonprofit startup accelerator program in Silicon Valley, they served as Corporate Innovation Lead from February 2017 to February 2022. Ryan also has experience as a Founder of a stealthmode startup from May 2015 to February 2022. Additionally, they co-founded CirroSecure in November 2012 as the CTO and held the role of Director of Research, Korea at iSIGHT Partners from October 2009 to March 2012. Lastly, Ryan started their career as a Software Engineer at Symantec from July 2008 to September 2009.

Ryan MacArthur attended The Johns Hopkins University from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained a Masters degree in Security Informatics. In 2015, they also briefly attended Y Combinator, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this experience.
