Sairaj Patil

Sairaj Patil has a varied work experience in the field of data science and analysis. Sairaj started their career as a Market Research Intern at Founder Institute in 2019, where they analyzed the performance of competitors and compiled information on market trends. Sairaj then founded their own venture, Troquer, where they worked as a Founder from November 2018 to July 2019.

Afterward, Sairaj worked as an Associate at Founder Institute in 2020, facilitating weekly classes for a group of founders and assisting them with market research and customer segmentation. In the same year, they joined Bloxxon as a Quantitative Analyst, where they created a security selection model for analyzing cryptocurrencies' financial health and implemented a diversified Cryptoasset Investment vehicle.

In 2020, Sairaj also worked at the University of Illinois Chicago as a US-Russia Cybersecurity Simulation Researcher and as a COVID-19 Research Analyst. Sairaj then joined Alpaca in 2020 as a Data Scientist, where they led the data analysis used to secure Series B investment and built and managed a team of three. Sairaj designed end-to-end data pipelines using various tools and technologies and implemented CDC processes.

Currently, Sairaj is working at Alpaca as a Senior Data Scientist and Data Engineer, designing data pipelines, implementing data analytics solutions, and developing a B2B lead generation tool for the sales team.

Sairaj Patil completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago from 2017 to 2021. In addition, they attended Technische Universität Berlin for two semesters in 2018. During their time at Technische Universität Berlin, they pursued studies in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies and Germanische Sprachen, Literaturen und Linguistik.
