Konstantinos Papadimitriou

Konstantinos Papadimitriou has over 17 years of experience in the banking industry. Konstantinos is currently the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Alpha Bank, where they oversee and coordinates projects related to credit risk, market risk, operational risk, and credit risk models validation. Konstantinos plays a key role in developing a risk management culture and implementing a risk appetite framework within the bank.

Prior to their current position, Konstantinos served as Head of Credit Risk at Alpha Bank Cyprus, where they managed all aspects of credit risk and was responsible for delivering IFRS9 in terms of Expected Credit Loss (ECL). Konstantinos also worked as a Deputy Manager, Credit Risk at Alpha Bank, where they monitored and assessed the bank's credit risk management in alignment with local and international regulations.

Earlier in their career, Konstantinos worked at Citi as a Credit Risk Policy Manager and at HSBC as a CRM Analyst - Customer Propositions. Konstantinos also gained experience in sales credit risk at Eurobank (GRE).

Throughout their career, Konstantinos has demonstrated strong leadership and analytical skills, contributing to the development and implementation of effective risk management strategies and policies.

Konstantinos Papadimitriou earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Patras between 1997 and 2001. Konstantinos later pursued a Master's degree in Applied Statistics at the University of Piraeus from 2002 to 2003.
