Janice Kim is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research, community outreach, and health education. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at the UCLA Depression Grand Challenge, Janice manages the Resilience Peer Network, facilitating support for students dealing with depression and anxiety. As the Director of Community Outreach at Cascade Training Center, Janice oversees Project CARE, organizing CPR and first aid workshops for Los Angeles communities. In addition, Janice holds the position of Executive Director for both the Care Ambassadors STEM Educators and MyUCLAHealthAmbassadors, where efforts are focused on youth development and enhancing patient experiences in healthcare. Janice also contributes as a Research Coordinator at UCLA Health, exploring communication quality in healthcare settings, and as an intern with TEACH, promoting STEM education among youth. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiological Science from UCLA, Janice enriches health-related initiatives through practical teaching and research experiences.
