Alisha Khan

Alisha Khan is currently an UH-HEART Student Researcher at the American Heart Association in the Boini Laboratory, focusing on Nicotine-Induced Podocyte injury. Alisha also serves as a Secretary at Alpha Epsilon Delta, a Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Assistant at Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center, and a Crisis Counselor at Crisis Text Line. Previously, Alisha was a Single-Molecule Metallo-Neurobiology Research Intern at the University of Houston and worked in Cardiovascular Research at CHI St. Luke's Health - Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center.
