Benedikt Sobotka

Benedikt Sobotka is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the natural resources sector. Currently serving as Principal at Alpha Future Funds since November 2024, Sobotka previously held the position of CEO at Eurasian Resources Group from 2014 to November 2024, where significant advancements in management, sustainability, and corporate governance were achieved. Sobotka also founded Bryanston, a consulting firm focused on natural resources, and co-founded Minerals Values Service, a big data analytics company for the mining industry. Earlier professional experience includes serving as Principal at The Boston Consulting Group, where Sobotka was involved in the Global Natural Resources Practice across multiple regions. Sobotka holds a Master of Arts in Management from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and has completed further education at renowned institutions like the Rotterdam School of Management and CEIBS Shanghai.
