Martial Tardy

Martial Tardy has extensive work experience in the field of journalism and corporate communications. Martial started their career as an Editor at Transfac in 1985 and then worked as a Journalist at Europe Information Service from 1990 to 1994. Martial later joined Le Soir as a Journalist from 1995 to 2000. From 1991 to 2007, they also worked as a Freelance Journalist for Aviation Week Newsletter Group, European Voice, and BBC.

In 2000, Martial Tardy moved into corporate communications at Solvay SA, where they served as the Manager of Corporate Press & External Relations until 2008. Martial then joined Solvay as the Manager of Corporate Internal Communication until 2016. From 2017 to 2023, they held various roles at Solvay, including Head of Content, Head of External Communications & Content, and VP Content & Media Relations at Syensqo.

Throughout their career, Martial Tardy has been responsible for developing and implementing content strategies, managing communication channels, and leading media relations. Martial is experienced in storytelling, tone of voice, and social media content strategy.

Martial Tardy received a Post Graduate degree in Economics & Business Management from Vrije Universiteit Brussel in Belgium from 1989 to 1990. Prior to that, they obtained a Maîtrise degree in Economics from Université de Lille in France from 1987 to 1989. Their education also includes studying at Pearson College in Canada from 1980 to 1982, where they completed the International Baccalaureate program.
