Maxcina Gadsden, MSL

Maxcina Gadsden, MSL has held a variety of HR roles over the past fifteen years. In 2021, they began working as an HR Manager for Alpha Genesis Inc., where they are responsible for HR-related activities such as onboarding, benefits, compensation, employee relations, and training. Maxcina also began working as a Human Resources Officer for Charleston County First Steps. In 2018, they became the Human Resources/Benefits Manager for The Maxi Group, where they were responsible for organizational development initiatives and the implementation of HR policies, programs, and services. From 2016 to 2018, Gadsden worked as the Director of Human Resources for Palmetto Community Action Partnership, Inc. dba Charleston County Human Services Commission, Inc. From 2014 to 2016, they were an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Virginia College in Charleston. From 2011 to 2014, they were the Chief Human Resources Officer for The Academy of Knowledge, LLC formly Open Arms Child Care Center. From 2008 to 2011, Gadsden was the HR Business Partner Manager for JVAMM Designs. Finally, from 2005 to 2008, they were a Senior Human Resources Generalist/Employee Relations Specialist for General Dynamics Lands Systems, where they provided HR support to 600+ administrative and warehouse employees.

Maxcina Gadsden, MSL holds a Master of Science in Organizational Change Management and Leadership from Pfeiffer University in Charlotte, NC, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Morris College in Sumter, SC.
