Tim Keong

Tim Keong has over 15 years of experience in accounting and finance roles. In 2020, they joined Alpha-H as Finance Manager, where they co-ordinate the monthly close process for the Alpha-H group of companies, oversees Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable & Payroll functions and manages direct reports, and prepares financial results with analysis and commentary on key variances/metrics for Management and Board presentations. From 2017 to 2020, they were Group Accountant at Murray River Organics, where they co-ordinated the periodic close process, reviewed monthly financial statements and performed budget/forecast variance analysis with commentary for Management and Board reporting, and prepared financial statements for the company’s half and full year statutory ASX reporting. From 2009 to 2017, they were at Madman Entertainment, where they co-ordinated periodic close process, prepared and reviewed balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and provisions, and reviewed monthly financials and provided budget/forecast variance analysis and commentary for Management and Board reporting. In 2008, they were Senior Auditor at Audit Commission. From 2005 to 2008, they worked at RSM Bird Cameron as Senior Auditor and Graduate Auditor.

Tim Keong obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting & Finance from the University of Melbourne in 2003, after studying there from 2001 to 2003. Tim then went on to complete a CA from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand in 2007.
