Jeff Schmitz

Jeff Schmitz has a strong and diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jeff is currently serving as the Vice President of Application Development at Alpha II - Healthcare RCM, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to this, Jeff founded Positive Slope LLC in 2011 and served as the Founder.

From 2016 to 2022, Jeff worked at Health eFilings, holding multiple roles including Chief Technology Officer, VP Engineering, and Software Engineer. Before that, they worked at OCI as a Principal Engineer from 2013 to 2015 and as a Senior Engineer from 2007 to 2013.

In the early stages of their career, Jeff gained experience at Reuters as a Technical Director from 2006 to 2007 and as a Development Manager from 2001 to 2006. Jeff also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Bridge Information Systems from 1999 to 2001.

Jeff began their career at Boeing, where they held various roles including Project Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer from 1994 to 1999. Jeff'swork at Boeing included developing software systems and tools utilizing languages such as C++, Ada, and Perl. Jeff is also credited with receiving two US patents for their contributions.

Jeff Schmitz completed their high school education at Duchesne High School from 1985 to 1989. Jeff then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, graduating from 1991 to 1994.
