Emily Evans is an accomplished professional in the field of biomedical engineering, currently serving as an Application Specialist at Alpha Omega since January 2023. Previously, Emily contributed as a Graduate Student Researcher at Columbia's Mortimer B. Zuckerman Mind Brain and Behavior Institute from May 2022 to December 2022. A solid foundation in research was established during tenure as an Undergraduate Researcher at Colleges of Nanoscale Science and Engineering from May 2018 to May 2021, where Emily synthesized alginate hydrogel microstrands and conducted ELISA for growth factor release. Additional experience includes developing eco-friendly cotton degradation methods during an undergraduate role at Stony Brook University in the summer of 2019.
