Brian Marvin

Brian Marvin serves as a Senior Wealth Advisor at AlphaCore Capital. He has over 20 years of experience in the investment management and securities industry. He thrives on building long term relationships with high net worth, institutions, and intermediaries. With a track record of success and expertise in the international equity arena, including hedge funds, he is always striving to learn and uncover new investments solutions for his clients.

Brian joins AlphaCore from GlobeFlex Capital where he served as a client relationship & consultant relations representative. Prior to GlobeFlex, Brian led client service & business development at Marvin & Palmer Associates, a Global Equity Management firm. As a Partner Brian’s responsibilities included client and consultant communication and service across the US, Europe, and Latin America. Exposure to the various needs of a diverse client base reinforced his belief that one size doesn’t fit everyone and the best client partnerships are based on shared understanding. Brian began his career in institutional European, Asian and U.S. equity sales, functioning in a variety of roles over eight years. He served both the internal trading desks of large plan sponsors as well as money managers around the globe. This level of involvement fueled his passion for investing and a deep understanding of the intricacies of global investing.

Brian is an avid cyclist, golfer, and sports coach to his two children. Brian and his wife, Andrea, live in La Jolla with their two children.
