James Campbell

James Campbell, CFA, is a Partner at Alpha Group since August 2022, where James specializes in foreign exchange and assists corporates and institutions navigate currency volatility. Prior to this, James served as a Director and Senior Global Equity Analyst at Pendulum Advisors from January 2015 to July 2022, focusing on investment sourcing, research, and portfolio management. James' earlier experience includes roles as a Global Equity Analyst and participation in a Vacation Work Development Programme at Sanlam Investments. An accomplished educator, James holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Investment Management and Financial Accounting from Stellenbosch University, an Honours degree in Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management, and a Master’s degree in Finance (Investment Management) from the University of Cape Town, complemented by passing CFA level 3 from the CFA Institute.
