Anand Upadhye

Anand Upadhye is the CEO and Co-Founder of AlphaLit, the first Litigation Finance Origination Platform, since September 2023. Previously, Anand served as Director of Investments at Legalist from 2021 to 2023, managing deal origination and fund deployment for an $800M AUM hedge fund. Anand held leadership roles at Casetext from 2015 to 2021, initially as VP of Business Development and later as Attorney & Head of Partnerships, where responsibilities included driving revenue and establishing key partnerships in the legal industry. Earlier experience includes positions as a Litigation Associate at Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP and Berding & Weil LLP, and as an Assistant District Attorney at the San Francisco District Attorney's Office. Anand holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law.
