Nate Sievert possesses extensive experience in outdoor guiding and emergency response, currently serving as a Lead Guide at Alpine Ascents International since April 2021, where Nate navigates groups through technical alpine terrain on challenging expeditions. In addition to this role, Nate has been a Pro Ski Patrol member at Crystal Mountain Resort since November 2018, focusing on avalanche mitigation and emergency medical response. Previous positions include Lead Guide and Assistant Guide at International Mountain Guides, as well as contributions to outdoor recreation policy as an Outdoor Recreation Policy Fellow with the Alaska Fellows Program. Nate's early career involved leadership roles in youth programs, including serving as an Assistant Trip Leader for STRIVE Trips and working as a ski instructor for Ski Masters Ski & Snowboard School. An alumnus of Yale University with a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies, Nate’s diverse background reflects a strong commitment to outdoor education and safety.
