Andrew Kerr

Andrew Kerr is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in regulatory affairs, policy, and strategy within the energy sector. Currently serving as the Chief Customer and Strategy Officer at Alpine Energy Limited since October 2023, Andrew previously held various leadership roles at Powerco from January 2017 to September 2023, including Head of Policy, Regulation, and Markets. Prior experience includes positions at Chorus NZ Limited and Meridian Energy, where Andrew contributed significantly to regulatory affairs and strategic advisory. Beginning a career in consulting, Andrew worked as a Senior Consultant at Concept Consulting Group and as a Senior Associate at CRA International. Andrew holds a PhD in Management Science from the University of Canterbury, earned between 1990 and 2000.
